I had one of my most interesting newborn stories to date come into my Manhattan newborn studio. Keegan is a two-week-old little boy who was blessed with parents who are absolutely obsessed with him. Which sounds like a familiar story for all parents. Except that Keegan was adopted here in NY and his parents came all the way from California to get him! They were notified a few months before his birth that they were next on the list and their love for him started to grow immediately. I’m so thankful they chose me to document his newborn photos before taking him back home to California. This was such a special story and I’m glad to have been a small part of it!
Keegan was already two weeks old when he had his newborn photo session but he did so well. He slept for a little while and allowed me to get some of the cutest poses. I love the photo of Keegan in his wrap with the teddy bear hat and his hands tucked under his chin. That pose always shows just how tiny babies truly are. Keegan’s skin was so perfect and flawless I swear he looked good in almost any color backdrop we put him in. The grays were precious but the teal blue was amazing! When he woke up for a little bit to show us his big brown eyes and gorgeous smile, it absolutely popped against the blue color. I think that might go down as one of my favorite photos ever.
He looked so precious and perfect in every pose we put him in. It’s so hard to choose a favorite from his newborn session.
